Codamol® 300/20 contains two different medicines called codeine phosphate and Acetaminophen. Codeine belongs to a group of medicines called opioid analgesics and Acetaminophen is a non-opioid analgesics. Acetaminophen is a less potent pain reliever that increases the effects of codeine. Codamol® 300/20 is used to treat mild to moderate pain. It may also be used for other purposes not listed in this medication guide.
